NSW Health And Safety Representative (HSR) Gap Training

The Workplace Health and Safety Act 2012 gives Safety Representatives the right to attend formal Health and Safety Representative (HSR) training. This HSR gap training course is for Health and Safety Representatives (HSR) who have completed the 4 day OHS Consultation course. HSRs must complete this 1 day gap course before they are able to exercise the complete range of duties that they have under the NSW Workplace Health and Safety Act 2011.

This HSR training course is approved by Workcover NSW, and meets the requirements for Health and Safety Representative (HSR) training in NSW. This course is sometimes referred to as the HSR Bridging course.

HSR Training Gap Course Duration

It is a Workcover NSW requirement that the Health and Safety Representative training course runs for 5 days.

Certificate

Successful HSR gap training course participants will receive a certificate of completion. Participants must attend all sessions to be eligible for a certificate.
