Workcover NSW Construction Induction (Green Card Training)
To obtain employment on a building or construction site in NSW it is a requirement that every worker holds a current Occupational Health & Safety Certificate, or "Construction Green Card" or "Construction White Card" as it is known in the Industry. This training course is formally known as "CPCCOHS1001A - Work Safely in The Construction Industry" The terms "Green Card" and "White Card" are often used together, however the cards that are issued by Workcover NSW are white in colour, hence the name 'white card'.
The 'Green Card' or 'White Card' is compulsory for each person as proof of completion of the "OHS General Induction for Construction Work" safety training.
If you work in the construction industry, you must have your management, employees and subcontractors complete the OH&S induction training for construction.
The Construction Induction course is mandatory and heavy financial penalties are specified by the regulations for non compliance.
Mr Safety can provide you with Workcover NSW approved 'White Card' safety training. Our white card course satisfies the legal requirements, as specified by Workcover NSW, for General OHS Construction Induction for construction workers in NSW.
White Card Course Duration & Location
The nominal hours for this course is 6 hours plus breaks.
Our public courses typically run from 8:00am to 2:30pm

Certificate
Successful white card participants will receive an interim statement of training on the day of training. This statement can be used as evidence of green card training for up to 60 days. The appropriate credit card sized wallet card will be issued directly by Workcover NSW. The card you receive will be white in colour, hence the term "White Card."

Penrith Public courses: $100 per participant (No GST)
Newcastle Public courses: $110 per participant (No GST)

White Card Proof of Identification (POI)
It is a Workcover NSW requirement that White Card course participants must provide 100 points of identification. Participants who do not provide this evidence will not be permitted to remain in the green card training course. Refunds will not be made for participants who do not bring the correct POI with them on the day. POI will be checked before training commences.
